Radar equipped MiG-19s

Here is a preview of the radar equipped family of MiG-19 serie.

This mod is done with the fake pilot method.

 

MiG-19P. 2x 30mm NR-30 cannons with 70 rounds per gun. RP-5 Izumrud-5 radar.

 

 

MiG-19PM. 4x RS-2US (AA-1 Alkali) and no guns. RP-2U Izumrud-2 radar.

 

 

MiG-19PT. 2x 30mm NR-30 cannons with 70 rounds per gun and 2 R-3S (AA-2A Atoll) missiles. RP-5 Izumrud-5 radar.

wow very nice pictures i use one of my installs as sfp1 and made every aircraft flyable so then its an arcade/sim i even incorporate sfp2s aircraft also and woe and woe2 us vs soviet. great pic.

I seem to recall releasing a couple of 19P/PM variants last year, or early this year for the 1st Gen series. Can't find the damn links, though. I know they're here somewhere (doncha hate it when a Moderator can't find his OWN mods!!)

Gepard also has one out, based on the SF2E 19P

 

as for avionics, check in the 17PFU paks -- they should be in the d/l section

We just wanted to do a more "similar" MiG-19P in appearance.

For me as I use SFP1 oct. 08 there is no problem using the modded MiG-21PFM cockpit with Izumrud radar parameters.

These 3 will be in a single pack.

Maybe later I will do the chinese J-6A and B versions plus a couple of very funny experimental variants. >SM-30 and SM-5 0<

Every skin has a dedicated historic decal set. Soviet PVO skins have some planes with old write "Excellent" (before the little red plane mark).

Hi Kevin,

 

Jake is right: this only a stock model "transplanted" with some (a lot of) little (very good) pieces made by Alex, that I painted tryng to reduce the difference from old and new parts as much as possible.

 

It tooks some works on the old nose, too, in two different ways for the P and the PM version.

 

So Your question is the best reward for our work.

 

DBS is one of my favorite scenarios to play and I converted it by myself to SF2 for personal use, because, as You know, I fly in SF2 now.

 

It works fine with only Soviet and American planes in use.

I assume you're using my upgraded DBS??? Shoot, brother, upload the modded inis; I'm sure there's a LOT of folks that'll want an SF2 DBS terrain for their installs!! (yes, I'm one of them!)

 

Speaking of Frescos (sorry to change the subject), has anyone tested the 08 level mods I did for PF/PFU/PF(SP-16) in SF2? Used the fake pilot method to put Pasko's Izrumd nose/pylon set on, and it worked great on 1stGens. Just wondering...

I'll send to You the inis. But I don't remember when and what I changed and when from the original terrain, fixing the water flickering (as in some mission I uploaed sometimes ago). You surely could do a batter work then me on a new next-gen DBS terrain.

 

I tested your fresco's mod in SF-2 and worked very well.

A little update.

 

Don't ask me why , but after seeing numerous photos of the MiG-19PM with Alkali missile I've decided to do both RS-1U /K-5 (Alkali-A) and RS-2US /K-5MS (Alkali-B).

 

And here is the result. (WIP skin at the moment)

We'ld like it, but the fake pilot nose is fixed, and, as I know, only few (one?) planes in late times went camo.

 

So, I'm sorry, but the answer is not.

 

About an SF-1 MiG-17PF, I don't know, but the 2nd Gen MiG-17PF is so good ...

Thanks Paulo,in these days I want to PM about realize a whole big AMI pack for all the planes made for these series.

I know that new 17 PF is good,but for some reasons expecially the AG missions I use (but I know there are many WoX users) WoV patch 06 that allow me to use all YAP helos and Gunships without any problem,I've tried to convert 'em for SF-2 but it's not the same thing ,and gunships are impossible to fly or to use cause the default pit view is changed from Oct08 to now.

and have a PF at the same standard the 19 is will be great!
