Hiya guys. Wow this game is great!! It has taken me a week to get aclimated to the a10 but wow. what a great game!! I have a couple problems though, and I really hope yall can help. Firstly when I fire the guns in the A10 the gun just continues to discharge untill all the ammo is expended. (makes the missions interesting) And secondly, this one really bugs me, I finnally finished the first mission for the a10 campagin and after the debreifing, and the breifing for the next mission, the game crashes to desktop. seems to crash after each flight is over, when i try to start another flight. I could live with that, but I cant continue on the next leg of the campagin as it kicks me back down to my last in-mission save when i reboot thje game. Any help??? pleas I am an aspiring cyber- pilot.

win 98

geforce 4 4200

Did you install the 1.01 patch? I thought those issues were resolved??

Yup installed.. funny thing is it ran fine before the patch.

Try remapping the the trigger in options. It might do the trick.

 

And as soon as you hit the debriefing screen click "save" - that way you shouldnt have to start alll over even if you game crashes

 

If it ran better before you patched to 1.1. you could uninstall and run it w/o the patch and just pray for a quick release of patch 1.2

i'm so out my depth here... sorry. I really don't have the faintest idea.

 

I can only suggest you ask on the Lock On: Community Help page or trawl through it for ppl with similar problems and system configs as you, to see if you are in luck

Have you considered upgrading to XP? It handles higher memory management MUCH better than 98. That may be part of your problem.
