To complement the modern F-16C / D Block 50 Plus, the government of Chile decided in 2005 the addition of 18 units of F-16 MLU second-hand from the Netherlands, as a way to standardize the fleet and combat platforms to replace the Mirage V "Elkan. These F-16 have been brought to the standard MLU (Mid Life Upgrade) in the Netherlands, subject to the Amstel Pacer update program. Besides this and the MLU will be submitted by the update program ENAER Falcon Star modernization that will allow these to extend their life fighter useful as improve their performance leaving a combat similar to the Block 40 standard, which allows you to trade arms sophisticated and smoothly.

A great leap forward towards the ideal F16 MLU, at last with the bird slicer antennas !!! No problem in making the European aircraft with the available skins.

All we are missing now is the MLU/C cockpit..... Thank you very much !!!!
