Wow the SF tank sim. If the mechanics could be worked out then this would open it up to a whole new sim altogether.

How about making the gun attached to a part that acts as a thrust vectoring component. Then use those keys to elevate or de...elevate. No idea if that would work.

I used to love playing the Tank game in the arcade.

A SF Tank Sim would be really COOL! :good:

Using a ground object 3d, set it as an aircraft on its landing gear and roll around?

yes thats about it, a few ini work and its good to go, but making it behave like a tank is a bit more dificult

about the gun, I think I can make the turret rotate but the hud wont

I will put some more work on it tonight and post any progress, I will post all the mods you need to do to get the tank in game, its the least i can do afther all the things this comunitty has giveng me

Making a tank is easy, piloting a tank is easy.

Getting the AI to do something useful with it...

It would be boring to play alone against the AI.

That's why we prefer to play games

Multi player, we organize missions

CAS, It's crazy to see

As the tanks Dodge, your AttacksBesides that you return the fire with his machine gun Coaxial.

Addition via TS.

I can send you to hell to your partner.

In the middle of the game. rofl.gif

As he wrote, yes he can elevate the gun, I think we can even model a suspension for all wheels. Using the ini`s for a planes gearsystem, just wth a few more wheels

I did some more work last nigth but not a lot came from it, im getting to know the FM pretty well, i got my comanders gun to shoot at ground targets as well as air targets the .50 cal is useless against helicopters like the MI-24, I put some stingers on it problem solve

did a lot of playing and let me say it is amazing fun, with the mission editor I made a couple of missions and it is pretty intensive with enemy helicopters and planes shooting at you and each other, enemy anti tank infantry looking for you, etc. had a lot of fun the only thing holdin me back is elevading the gun

Last night I had an idea for an all inclusive mod, SF ground war, you get to fly helicopters and tanks

THIS IS THE BEST SIM NO DOUBT ABOUT IT

If you use tanks

with Inis of plane goes wrong.

You can always try to give it wings.

What about throttling and nose gear compression, you know throttle up and nose drops, throttle down and nose rises.

I havent being able to do more work on the tank mod, but my idea is to asing the gun to a movile part, like the pilons on an f-111 an asing to it an animation ID# will this make the shot go where Im aiming?
