What software when making 3d models?

Hii guys/girls

 

Am just wondering what software you guys are using when making 3d models for the game. I will be having alot of time on my hands soon and i need something to do, so why not learn 3d modeling. Anyways, i know of Blender wich is free but is it possible to make models with Blender and use them ingame??

I think you're pretty well restricted to 3D Studio MAX. There is a plug-in for that product that will produce the LOD files required for the TW sims. 3D Studio MAX is not cheap.

 

That being said, you probably could find a cheaper alternative for the actual modelling but the software would need to produce files that could be imported into 3DS MAX and you would need to find someone WITH 3D Studio MAX to export the model in LOD format.
