I just got into combat with the skyraider!

Took up a Mig 21 in a single mission and found the primary target to be the Skyriader. The ATOL's would not Track it so I had to bring them down with Guns. I managed to get in behind the first one and a quick burst to the right wing blew it off and the skyraider quickly spun to the ground. I managed to get another 2 in similar fashion. I ended the mission with a big smile on my face.

Great to see the aircraft in the game and in the gunsight. Great work my all concerned in the project. Thanks for the great work!

Major note in gamespy you only get guns for the dogfights,as well as the strike co-op missions. to fully use this aircraft we may have to wait till the mission editor is out. oh well still a blast to fly.

Ok, until now I have had no big problems installing a skin. But this time, it is giving me fits. I created an A1-h folder, and extracted the files for the aircraft to it. But the aircraft still does not show up in the menu as a selection. What am I doing wrong?

Someone please advise. Thanks. Chief

Which is the correct .ini file to use... I do not seem to have the loadouts that I am seeing in the pictures posted... all I get for the wings is a choice of 12 AIM-9's. Is everyone using the ini file that lets the prop spin?

Ok, now I am beyond frustration. I had already downloaded Daggers' file from the first page of posts. I extracted all those files to a file I created in the Aircraft Directory called, "A1-h". Did I screw up? Whatever the case, the Skyraider does NOT show up on the aircraft selection menu.

NavyChief...the file is a complete file..just extract it to your aircraft folder. the folder is already there. :D let me know if this doesn't work.I'm also working on getting those little black lines to go away,or act like exhaust.

still a few bug in it...the funny lines( I believe they are supposed to be exhaust) and now the prop has a square around it...theres a fixed ini file at sim hq that makes the prop work, now to get rid of that darn square!

I Have Found the Bug Responsible for the problems.

If you Run in 32-Bit Mode you get the shadow error as well as teh Prop error.

But..

If you drop to 16- bit mode Every thing is A=OK

Will address the model creator and TK from thirdwire about this.

Might be a game prob or a texture mapping problem

but then you get a "fuzzy" cocpit in 16bit mode with the a4 and f4

trade offs lol

I downloaded the file with much anticipation!   It came in an auto-extract file, but when I extracted it to SF, the aircraft does not show up in the listing for available aircraft.  Ok, I am fairly new to all of this, but I have successfully added several of the previous skins with no prob.  Could someone please enlighten this old Chief as to what I am doin' wrong?

Thanks.

You must make directory in ...Stike FightersObjectsAicraft dir "A1-h" and copy all files to this directory, thats ALL...
