Which Jasta to fly for in April 1917?

Recommended Posts

Hi

I’ve tested a few different Jasta’s in the spring of 1917 but we always face Nieuport 17’s and never any other fighters and no 2-seaters either.

Some change would be nice so are there any Jasta which encounter some other fighters or 2 seaters? :wink2:

Cheers

Go to Jasta 18 in Halluin or Jasta 28w in Wasquehal to find some good action - you should meet Sopwith Pups,

Bristol fighters, and the Sopwith Triplane, when it gets intrduced. And the other 2seaters too.

Or go to Jasta 11, and fly well guarded by Manfred von Richthofen and his elite pilots - it's fun

to see, how well your wingmen will follow.

Everywhere above Arras, the chance will be bigger to meet British, Canadian or Australian pilots,

while the south is more the French area.

Set air activity to "medium", to find more choice.

Currently the Flanders area is the most well-developed in OFF. If you go any further south, on the Entente side you won't find anything but French fighters, Nupes and SPADs. That's because OFF doesn't yet have any French two-seaters, and only a few 2-seaters for the British and Germans. So stay around the British sector of the front, and you will have more variable encounters.

Needless to say, OFF P4 absolutely requires more 2-seaters.

Haven't I read that before? Somewhere?
