Europe seems pretty flat.

So far, all the terrain I see is relatively flat. Are there areas of more severe terrain out there?

yeah, in the south near the Alps. Just look at the planning map .. it shows the mountains

The Afghanistan and America NW maps are pretty severe mountainous terrains too.

And the recently re-released Himilaya map rebuild (originally by Major Lee) 80% mountains, 20% valley around Katmandu

 

when I finally get Indo=Pak done ... lottsa nice mountains, too

There where i live, the highest mountain is round the bound 22, 476 meters high. :lol:

germany flat my BUTT! try drivin a 5 ton thru Bayern (Bavaria) at night and keep lookin down the other side of the guard rail at the forest way below. i have many memories of Germany and the Autobahn. flat is not one of them.

lol some of of in the States think the same about the South. Given i'm originally from Chicago i would agree though i have always manged to get stationed in the south of somewhere.

Actually, I can think of two states that applies to: Texas and California. Neither are the USA, they're just what they are!

also just reminded me of the tv show Jericho, where the Republic of Texas Vipers shoots down Cheyennes Eagles at the end of the series. like that would be a big suprise!

BTW, the ASW map's in the hangar right now, getting a major makeover for SF2. Lot's of retiling, new target areas, improved targets, etc
