So I recently got a shiny new X52 pro :good: and I am really liking it.

On the throttle there is a little indent for both idle and for afterburn and on most planes it seems to work pretty well, but on the F-18 the afterburn seems to kick in way before the indent on the throttle.......Is it possible to adjust this perameter within the F-18, right now it kicks in at about 60-70% throttle and on my new throttle it starts at about 80% of the throttle travel.......it seems to be the same on any F18, however other aircraft I have tried seem to hit afterburn at the same time as the stick.......

Any advice would be appreciated

Cheers

Easy peasy.

Look at any aircraft data.ini in the Engine section. Note this:

IdleThrottle=0.10

IdleRPM=0.68

IdleNozzle=0.0

CruiseThrottle=0.37

CruiseRPM=0.82

CruiseNozzle=1.0

MilThrottle=0.65

MilRPM=1.00

MilNozzle=1.0

MaxThrottle=0.78

MaxRPM=1.00

MaxNozzle=1.0

FullABThrottle=1.12

FullABRPM=1.00

FullABNozzle=0.0

The xxxxThrottle number is the relevant number. FullABThrottle is your full throttle detent, IdleThrottle is your idle throttle detent. The numbers you want to adjust are the MilThrottle and MaxThrottle numbers, as those tell you your max dry thrust throttle setting and your minimum AB throttle setting.

Thank you FC :drinks:

I changed the two values to .80 and .85 and it works perfectly
