Request help for the Gun pod

Hello, guys. I am just trying to put my UPK-23 gun pod on the centre hard point of MiG-21PF and MiG-21PFV since they have no fix gun themself. But ever since I install the patch for my WOE, the UPK-23 have disappeared from the inventory. And every time when I trying to use the weapon editor, my inventory will become completely empty.

 

Since I am a computer idiot myself and can not fix this issue, so I am putting myself at you guys' mercy. Hope you guys can help me, Thanks a lot.

The October 08 patch makes the old weapon editor obsolete, make sure that you have the newes version of the weapons editor and follow the instructions of the modder to install the gun pod. (After you drop the skins and such, you have to copy the data from the included file into your weapondata.ini ***And then open and save it with the weapons editor(new version)***.

Ah, and you have to install the patch over a clean and new version of your simulator, and then add your weapons and aircraft. (To make sure it patched successfully) .

Didn't they use the GP-9, and not the UPK???

 

and yes, use the 08 weapons editor; run the 06 weapons data ini through it, and all wil return (coverd in the Knowledge Base, iirc, in the 'Things You Need to Update Thread')

By the way, do I need a new gun editor too? I did a search, but it seems that the newest gun editor for SF1 is dated back to 2004
