The skin and model are just lovely, but somehow I feel Iron Crosses and Spit don't go well together... :superstition: Maybe that is just me.

Here is another odd idea - JG 72 Viking with F-106, paintscheme is inspired by the Viking's Sabres:

The F-102/F-106 was another rival in the Luftwaffe competition 1958, which the Starfighter won. It was not the greatest rival to the Starfighter (that was the Mirage), but it had a well known advocate, the Ace of Aces:

Erich Hartmann, sitting the in F-106 cockpit, was absolutely fascinated by this aircraft.

000000hhhhhhhhhhh..... I MUST have that Flying Saucer!!! It'll replace the (somewhat defective) Avro-Car as my UFO of choice!!

That tank is frakking AWESOME, too!!!

PH: I agree, somewhat. It just "feels" odd to see them on a Spit! Maybe I'll do a Mustang or Jug (N) next

Spinners: of course, I had to pick a winter day to have the window open!!

At the beginning (2008) big full scale under the radar mod on my own I had to cut down to several new odd units and small unfinished story...

Story revolving around Leonid Alekseyevich Kulik's expedition to examine the Tunguska Event site in 1927... with an unexpected "out of this world" twist later in the late 1940s during Berlin Crisis '49

That Tank... Is mere 100 feet tall. And it takes more than 4 500lbs to put it down...

edit:

But the K-1 saucer is a beast to fly... and shoot it's blue lasers

Quite unstable I'd admit

Somehow, on US planes it does not look that weird... maybe it is the fact that we are more used to US birds with the crosses.

Oh, and thanks everyone! Back to the Mirage, but this time it is the Viking's turn.

Found this little gem in the D/L-section. Unfortunately it is just a Tiger with Lw-paintjob… The Super Tiger had a different shape, was to get an APQ 50 radar for Sparrows and had launch rails for sidewinders on its upper fuselage.

Could not resist:

the whole 509th pak I did IS 100% accurate (except for not having the 'pumpkin' mission markings)

Hope you added a radar to the Fibber, Spinners! (hhhmmmm...wonder if the 17pf or 17pfu nose/pylon kit would fit??)

It can be done...

img00005.JPG

However, I'm not happy with how many times and by how much I had to over G to get this to happen.

I'm thinking the StructuralFactor may need to be lowered.

Maybe but I think it's fine where it's at as other than the attempt above I don't actively try to snap them off. Maybe I just fly it too correctly like you say and don't worry about breaking my ride

I'd love to but the Ta-183 is a DAT product.

Forgive my ignorance, Eric, but I am interested to know why the Hornet is a "what-if"?
