MaxInletTemperature=40

change to it:

MaxInletTemperature=800

good luck

nope same could it be speed related?

it may be the speed.

however, this turbine is so powerful like that?

SLThrustDry = 190230

SLThrustWet = 300700

Yeah, cadeteBRA is correct. You've used the pounds force value for the engine rather than the newton value as required in the game. Try these values for the Olympus 22R from Wikipedia:

SLThrustDry = 87200

SLThrustWet = 136200

OverheatTemp=33750.0

DamageTempDelta=83300.0

That can be also out of range. Try to change it back to the original:

OverheatTemp=750.0

DamageTempDelta=300.0

i

That can be also out of range. Try to change it back to the original:

OverheatTemp=750.0

DamageTempDelta=300.0

i fiddled with them to try to stop it setting on fire iv put them back and its the same

Not sure on this, but maybe try this:

OverheatTemp=1750.0

DamageTempDelta=30.0

I suggest OverheatTemp is the temperature where the engine catches fire, while DamageTempDelta is the amount of temperature change. If you use 750 and 300 you have not enough "space" for the increasing temperature.

Also change the MaxInletTemperature to a higher value, maybe 1000.

none of that made any difference whatsoever the only thing that worked was dropping the max speed :(

how do i add weapons and an internal gun?

how do i convert lbs thrust to in game thrust values?

SLThrustDry = 87200

SLThrustWet = 136200

this is the right values.

I have some questions for you:

1=what plane it is with this problem?

2=at what speed and altitude that the turbines catch fire?

weapons and machine guns are basically editing the XXXdata. ini, but the model need have the pilons...

several on-line converters will do the job of lbs thrust to newton meters. check google

the plane is a tsr2 but i want to make it a what if (long story)

basically it was all speed related altitude was irrelevant if i went above the standerd max speed then sooner or later it set on fire and exploded

i want to add an internal gun and pheonix missiles

(i also wanted to add canards like the su33 and longer intakes the shape of the f14 but iv no clue how to do that)

thanks for all the replies youv all been a great help :)

how do i convert lbs thrust to in game thrust values?

x 4.5 is a rough approximation.
