WW2 "generic, stand-in" cockpits pack

WW2 "generic, stand-in" cockpits pack

This pack contains 8 "generic" World War 2 era cockpits for use in WW2 installs.

Tested in Series2 ONLY, no idea about Gen1 compatibility!!! You have been warned!!!

Info:

"Generic" means these cockpits are somewhat similar to various real life ones, and are meant as replacement ones for aircrafts that by default have no custom, specific cockpits of their own. Rivet counters and/or WW2 experts please note that thesse cockpits do NOT represent any specific real-life models/variants, so if you seek for ultimate realism in modelling this pack is NOT for you.

These cockpits are as follows, with the planes I use them as a guide:

EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_1 -for MartletII, Martlet III

EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_2 -for Macchi202 and other, italian gauges

EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_3 -british fighters

EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_4 -FiatG50, open cockpit with italian gauges

MID_WW2_COCKPIT2 -generic, light fighter

MID_WW2_COCKPIT3 -P-39D, maaaybe some soviet fighter..?

Late_WW2_COCKPIT1 -P-47D, heavy ground attack aircraft, single engine bombers

LATE_WW2_COCKPIT2 -like above but with bubble canopy, for late models of Jug, other heavy fighters

Hi Stary - I think there must be a problem with the compression. I've downloaded it twice, from each link, and it opens the 7z file but says the zip files inside are invalid...

hmmm, works for me..? re-checked the zips from my HDD, they do work just fine

Odd. 7zip unzips the outer shell, but the zip files inside come up as invalid. Let me try again - maybe to do with settings or something.

Nope. The diagnostic screen reads "Unsupported compression method for..." followed by the name of the zip file. A folder is generated, but it's empty.

What version of 7zip are you using? I've got 4.65. It's worked so far...

7z is unzipping the outer shell, but the extracted zip files are 0kb, and empty. Even the jpgs are invalid - 0kb. Weird...

Just have - no change. Both from each download site do the same thing. They get as far as creating the zip files, but they're empty.

I'm having the same problem as ndicki. I tried using 7zip and Winzip but no luck either

I'd suggest a re-upload (yes, I know...) but using one single type of compression. I think 7zip is trying to open the zip files AS WELL as the 7z shell, and it can't.

I'll try as 7zip all with no internal zip files then

I think (HOPE!) that'll do the trick... I'm dying to find out what that "Spit" cockpit looks like in mine!

Hi, i use izarc and no probs here. Stary, question. Do you plan to make a pit for the 109 or similar. I think the ones ndicki uses are sf1. Just wanted to find out if you planned on doing a pak for Luftwaffe besides Italina planes. Thx.
