macelena 1,070 Posted June 24, 2011 (edited) It seems it is a Greek Mirage 2000 crashed into the Aegean Sea near the island of Samos. off the Turkish coast, a Greek Island in a disputed area, where it was common for Greek and Turkish aircraft to meet.
