Love it! Would be nice if the wingtip tank could be removeable.

Oh! i have a full walkaround of the little beast as i live in El Salvador hehehe, as i once told Wrench, they never flew without them to my knowledge, the one with sharkteeth lays abandoned now almost back to silver and the only one that possibly can fly, has no qualified pilots to do so.

The current Ouragan is one of the first successful mod for SFP1 ! I like it... a sort of vintage mod.

However un brand new model would be welcomed !

It is very difficult to have good pictures of the cockpit, at least I never found very accurate ones :(

My Current and First attempt at modelling something, NOW, it is not my model, i am just trying to fix and give it a bit more of reality.

Among the fixes made, i got:

  • Tail round up
  • Elevons round up
  • Rudder cut
  • Spine round up
  • Fuselage round up
  • Engines round up and reposition (they were a bit low)
  • Fuel tanks round up and reposition
  • Wing fence re making
  • Aileron cuts and round up of the edges
  • Wing re shaping
  • Gun re shaping

Pending or in the make tasks:

  • Nose re making
  • Cockpit re shaping
  • Landing gears re shaping and repositioning
  • Some antennas and other bumps and humps missing
  • Some decent mapping (Including BMs and SMs)
  • And last but not least... some good skins :)

Some shots of the making:

How about it? Still a long way to go, but it's a start...

ItalySE_screenshot_000.jpg.e51d9f3a79d2b2c2dcfd99994aabafe5.jpg

Next, I'll be adding airports/airbases in Austria, Greece and Corsica, France (maybe something neutral in Switzerland too). This is the Cold War version of the terrain. A separate one will be made for the 1990s Balkan conflict and beyond.

Speaking of the Balkan conflict, Udbina Air Base had been theatre of a NATO air mission. However, I've been unable to find any info about the construction year of said air base. I doubt that Udbina Air Base already existed back in 1963 (the Cold War version of the terrain spans from 1963 to 1991). If anyone is interested in doing a research about it, it'd help greatly. I have found this link which claims that Udbina Air Base existed before 1990, but no precise dates about its history during Cold War: http://www.forgottenairfields.com/croatia/lika-senj/udbina-s68.html
