The right time to eject

Recommended Posts

What went wrong? i mean, besides landing a little hard, why did he need to land this way?

He came in REAL hot with too much descent fpm and the exhausts were full aft. Normally they slow way down and angle those things like 45 degrees down for a short landing.

I don't know what the failure was because the gear and flaps were down as normal, so I wouldn't guess it was hydraulic failure. Perhaps some engine-related problem where the throttle was stuck?

The most important thing was, he was able to eject safely... Bet the flight suit needed a cleaning afterwards.
