May not look like anything at all. The Swiss Socialists are trying to block the deal, or have it deferred to 2025. Because, you know, those Tigers will last that long...

you have to wait antil it is done on the drawing-board  not even the swiss know how there new figther will look like

but it is cheaper then all other contender for the job or is it , if that thing is not existing and must be first develop one can be sure that the price will go up and up ..... and up , but the swiss have enough money to afford that

I like the Camo version, I miss those types of skin on modern "grey only" planes

both are nice but most likely the intake and the exhaust-nozzle will look different because the swiss-Gripen will have an other engine and some other changes as well , we will know as soon as the drawings are done

and as for the camo it will be a grey low-viz camo for sure like the F-5 or F-18 that the swiss airforce is using

The Swiss are going for the Gripen E/F and this is far from a paper aircraft, both the new engine (GE414) and new airframe have been flying as the Gripen NG since 2008. The new AESA radar should be ready this year if I remember right.

The new airframe of the E/F makes it looks different from the current "slim" legacy airframe of the A/B/C/D Gripens. Something to consider for the drawings.

Best regards

Jens
