I learnt this from the F-100A for Taiwan in the SF1 section but the example is from one of my Lightning mods;

You need to add a component line (using the next available component number) and then add an edit to remove it

Component[010]=Norefueling_probe

[Norefueling_probe]

ParentComponentName=Fuselage

ModelNodeName=refueling_probe <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< This must be the exact mesh name you are trying to remove

DestroyedNodeName=refueling_probe

DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE

HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE

From the thred I read some timeago you need to add the " _OK" ,I add it and it's worked to make the AN-12 a -8. Distroyed two of the engines and the cowls an stuff

ModelNodeName=refueling_probe _ok

Add whatever you like but what I've outlined is from a mod where it works. _OK?

Yea most stuff removes fine without the "_ok" but there are some stuffs that need the _ok. Have no idea what the deal is but life is like that.

Free Tip:: I make a desktop shortcut with keyboard Ctrl+Alt+2 to a text file I call @@@@@ and...well here it is...I just copy and paste stuff when I need it fast and fill in the blanks or numbers....
