? on Aircraft.cfg file content

Recommended Posts

The following is an extract common to all the "aircraft.cfg" files. Has anyone had any experience with modifying any of the settings?

I was wondering if it was possible to reduce the intensity of force feedback during take-off so that my stick doesn't vibrate so heavily.

Any discussion on this might be useful to me before I underake experimenting.

I should "think" the developers know, but they ain't talking

Unforetunatly FFB sticks are rather rare these days, nothing can replace them

I found the Sidewinder II USB too heavy of an impulse for the MG. And it can't be regulated with the 'program' IF you can get it too work at all. So I was running 'without' the program .

Couple that to a shortage of buttons ( Saitek Throttle Quadrant ) and a pitiful rudder response ( Pedals )

I was LUCKY to locate a Logitech Power Pro Force Still in the box

There used to be many choices for FFB

I had a Saitek Cyborg Power, which died finally

Now in the NEW catagory we're reduced to a $300 Logitech System

If those figures are changeable - ( if opened in Notebook ), then I'd try changing the third from last value to say 2500 and see if that reduces the sticks shake?

Don't forget to "save " the file when altered

IOW  suck it and see:)
