Ok Time to skin the plane. Question. Can I UVW Map the Plane with the parts linked? The Hierarchy Is compleat and I'd hate to have to redo it.

If you have several parts (maybe fuselage, nose and tail) you can select them all, apply a "group" to them (in the upper menu bar) and then use the unwrap UVW modifier like on a single mesh. After you are done you still need to ungroup them again to have the TW exporter and game engine handle them correct, but the mapping still exists!

You must be carefull with animations maybe, so save your work a few several hundred of times...

No need to group. Just select the objects you want to map and apply unwrapuvw modifier.

Thanks Guy's, I decided to test ingame so I copyed to a temp and textured with simpe stuff, Glade I did, Found things to fix and mapping would have made it harder. Still have to ajust the max-extents and collisonpoints. FM almost finished.

raven...if u look in sf1 downloads under utilities I think...is a minmax script plugin to do it for you in 3ds max..it saves the points as a txt file and even names the meshes too.
