Sad news. I was just reading his pilot notes on the Sea Hurricane on the Historic Aircraft Association page. It puts you right in there, one could imagine piloting the aircraft with his in depth description.

Very sad indeed - one tiny positive note I guess is if you have to go then best go doing something you love.
