Help with landings Please..

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have been having trouble landing the aircraft in OFF..

I come in level, slowly reducing altitude and speed..

Keeping the nose slightly up..

and when I hit the ground, BANG!!

Hobbit pieces everywhere!!

Any advice on How to land these canvas and wire things would be Most welcomed..

OFF to wreck more OFF..

Why do Hobbits always try to do things only in their own way?

.

HH, you're coming in too level. You want the rudder to touch first, then the top wing.

I have it in missions for OFF..

One Must have Snoopy in OFF..

The greatest Beagle Ace in WW1..

By the order of the Great Pumpkin..Himself Indeed..:ok:

None as brave or daring as Snoopy..:clapping:

That is as soon as I learn to land these WWI Aircraft :yikes:

I don't know guys, polka dots on DR1 could work.

And Olham, I seem to recall we painted a pink Alb for you quite some time ago, complete with a cup of tea emblazoned on the side of it.

Yes, I just think of the tactical advantage that will give you in a dogfight when your opponent is busy trying to clean off the inside of his windscreen.

You know, if you dial back the color intensity, add outlines to the polka dots, and put the crosses back on the top wing surfaces, it almost becomes believable:

... almost ...

And Olham, I seem to recall we painted a pink Alb for you quite some time ago...

The Bordeauxred Baron:

"Yes, you say quite rightly: YOU painted my Albatros pink! (Gasp!)

Now, we Germans are very liberal about colourful fighter planes; everyone knows that!

But pink Polka dots on purple aircraft can only originate from a Hobbit mind!

In my Staffel, I would threaten the guys with execution for the case anyone would commit

such forms of war crimes! Pink aircraft! (Barf! Vomit!! Thud!!!)"

Unteroffizier Meyer:

"Sani! Sanitäter!! The Baron has collapsed!"

Moderators! Help!! Ban these designs for very bad taste!!! Pleeeeeze!!! Raaaahhhhh!!!!
