Adjusting conflict date

Recommended Posts

Hi fellow simers!Hope all's well with you.

I hope this question has not been asked before as I haven't found a similar thread.My question:

The least date in the Default desert map is 1945 while the max I can go is 1982.If I select an aircraft with a higher date,then I'm stuck with selecting that date and cannot cycle back.For example the max date is 1982 but,if I fly the Block 40 Viper,the only date shown is 1989.I was hoping someone could tell me how to increase the max date in the default desert terrain from 1982 to atleast 1991 :idea: .All or any help is welcome.

Regards;

Lazarus

MissionWeather=BROKEN

AirActivity=RANDOM

AirDefenseActivity=RANDOM

LoadMission=FALSE

LoadMissionFilename=A-10A Close Air Support.MSN

MissionYear=1980

StartYear=1940 <---------------------------------

EndYear=2040 <---------------------------------

Service=USAF

so how do i change the dates in game? :lol:

seriously tho lazaraus get used to finding that line to edit. have to fix it after every patch. its just as easy to change the new options.ini for those two dates as it is to bring your old one and adjust for version.

The Knowledge Base was painfully put together for newbies and veterans reference alike, with questions exactly like these.

There is no harm in spending a precious few moments going through the KB rather than asking the same questions that have been asked, and answered before!!!!

As someone's signature (don't remember who) says: No drop of rain thinks it is responsible for the flood.
