Is this "new look" permanent?

Recommended Posts

Yes, I thought the same...

Ah, Calvin in his flying saucer! More than the forum appearance is new...

Damn! That wasn't supposed to happen. I was trying to delete an old .jpeg of the DH-2 vs. Albatross duel in My Settings.

But I'll stick up for Hauksbee. Calvin & Hobbes is second only to Schultz's "Peanuts" (Charlie Brown and Snoopy) in my book! Still, we need to get our olds style sheets back. Gives the joint some atmosphere, you know?

HEY! Where's my avatar?!?!

It's like someone's redecorated your house while you've been out. And how do I get my Avater back?

What the hell happened ?

Looks bloody awful.

All the charm of a used paper cup.

May I respectfully say that if

something isn't broken it doesn't

need fixing.

A forum which is so luxurious, beautiful and easy to handle as this one, must need maintenance every now and then.

I guess hat can sometimes be a very complex business, to arrange things differently, for the sake of better order or

for security reasons.

During such maintenance works, the "OFF wallpapers" were put out of action.

The forum moderators have already written a note, that everything should be back as usual, after a couple of more days.

So grab the "Hitchhiker's Guide through the Galaxy" and follow the major rule, which is printed in bold red letters

on the front page, and which is so becalming: DON'T PANIK!

(And don't forget your towel!)

Oh Cmon, Olham.

Lay down your burden of good sense and

level-headedness.

Nothing wrong with a good burst of Panic.

For in that we are only emulating our

(financial)"betters".

Glad to see the boards have returned

to a semblance of normality.

(insert ironic smiley thing)

Anyone having an issue with the logo above being too far to the left and being slightly cut off?

Not cut off Fates, but it is quite close to the edge, (but then so am I some mornings).

If I was still drinking, and I'd be looking like that on some too early mornings, I wouldn't be surprised too much.

Shocked, maybe.

But not surprised.

Running Firefox 14.0.1 on W7 64 bit Pro, and yes, that is what I have - ever so slightly cut off. Have a look:

Well, at home on IE 9.0.8 it is fine! I'll check Firefox at work in the morning!

Best,

Tom

I am. The left edge of the top logo is cut off at all times unless I run this window fullscreen. IE9 here.

I'm good on the laptop I'm using now (while at work--ssssshhhhh). Won't know about my home box until Monday.
