Kamra Air base attacked....and it wasn't the Indian AF

Recommended Posts

These terrorist are getting more retarded day by day. What makes them think that they can simply enter a secure military facility and start shooting up everything? This was nothing more than another failed terrorist attempt as all of them have been killed without any loss from the airforce's side. And regarding the Indian AF,Kamra is littered with SAM batteries and always has at least four aircraft ready for a QRA scramble.

The IAF comment was meant to be a joke.

Besides what's the use of QRAs when one's own officers and conscripts are involved in such attacks? What's the use of super duper, next to top gun PAF when it can't prevent such attacks. The bitter truth is the serpent which pakistan raised so dearly to cut india's "jugular vein" is slowly turning against Pakistan and radicalisation of pakistan's armed forces is no longer a myth.

The Pakistani military is now free of all influence from such groups. However, the situation will not improve as the Taliban are being secretly supported by Saudi Arabia,a fact the world wishes to ignore.

The radicalisation of the forces occured for a very short time. The way this attack was averted is proof of the readiness and the potency of our military. But,you Indians can believe whatever you please.

LOL!!!!! Potency, yeah right. No wonder the potent military ended up losing P-3s.

The truth is taliban's pissed why and how Osama, living literally next to such a huge paki army base, got captured. The poor guy who apparently helped the Americans is being prosecuted for handing over Osama bhaijaan.

How is it possible that without insider info, such attacks were carried out. If there's no radicals in pak military and these guys were not helped by anyone from pak military, then they were either too get past such a high security area OR the defenders were too poor and caught with their pants down.

How did 9/11 happen?Because the terrorists were able to take advantage of some loopholes. That's the same way the P-3s were lost. And as for the guy who aided in his capture,he should have known that Osama Bhaijan was a hard target(Even if he was there). He should have known how the CIA treats it's operatives after using them.According to the law,he aided another country in breaching Pakistan's national security.Believe me,even I wan't the guy to get away safe, something the CIA should have done for him. But,as always bureaucracy reigned supreme and now he's rotting in a jail.Besides,we have no real proof(no picture, video) that Bin Laden was really there. The whole operation could have been staged by the Obama administration to up their hopeless ratings in the upcoming elections.Either way,the attack on Kamra was successfully averted. This shows the active decline of extremism in Pakistan.Too bad the US is exiting Afghanistan and making it a 'Welcome home' sign for the Taliban.

As for your new reply, the Taliban in the country have been actively broken. But,small pockets still exist. These attacks on military checkpoints and sometimes large facilities are attempted in desperation and are not well planned at all. These attackers come from Afghanistan, whose borders are of almost no concern to NATO.And regarding the defenders, they were fully prepared and were able to take down these terrorists within minutes. There's a reason Pakistan is still surviving.

Its not, there is insider info.. but its not with the regular officers or soldiers..

There is a whole plethora of off base people that work at kamra.. and the village next to it has ample places to scout the base from.

However.. unlike the P-3 fiasco.. this time the terrorists were never able to advance beyond the initial checkpost.

The Base commander took a bullet.. but the 9 terror twirps were shot dead at the gates.

One Transport was slightly damaged when a final RPG round landed a few meters away from it.

However, there is no doubting the fact that the hydra used to burn India from the inside..and now turned on its master.

Extremism in Pakistan will never go away unless the ISI and its likes stop supporting terror groups(all of them including those supposed "freedom fighters"). The Afridi fellow is being prosecuted with a vengeance because that raid exposed how Pakistani military & terror groups are closely involved. A guy like Osama lived in Abbottabad and the Pakistan military didn't have knowledge about it ? I don't think many in the world bought that argument. I am glad they dumped Osama's body in the ocean so that his bretheren don't have a place to worship him in the future .

It was all directed at India, but now those fellows have turned the heat on Pakistan. There have been so many attacks against Pakistani military and police, somehow I doubt the extremism in Pakistan is on the decline. The only people people who can save your country from becoming another Afghanistan is you. I know it must be painful for you to see your soldiers die in this manner, but as the saying in India goes, "If you setting trap for others, it won't be long before you fall into that trap one day ".
