Nvidia 306.97 WHQL Drivers Released

The last drivers specifically mentioned an increase for the 400 series GTX cards. I didnt notice, but see an end to the drivers crashing during play.

 

Any news on these and its use with the GTX 460M?

So it supports it, you can use them. Whether there's any REASON to is another matter. I'm sure they're not doing anything for that card anymore, although if there's some game-specific issues with the previous drivers these might resolve them.

 

Oddly although the file DL is the same, the readme notes on the site when you pick 8800GTX under the DL page looks different (see above) then when you choose say my GTX570. Then the readme omits the 8800GTX from the list.
