Noticed the pics of the Ace McDonnel? and the defected mig?

I believe that that particular MiG is on display, still in the same markings, in a US museum.

uh ... wow. Yea bookmark that, some of those can make great loading screens over the SF.

 

Some of the B-29 pics are very good, the Sabre taking off above other Sabres, the Twin Mustangs taking off. Really nice stuff thanks!!!!!

Yea. I visit the Mig everytime I go there since I live near the museum :)

 

I saw a typo, I misspelled the Ace's name. Its McConnel.

I can also recognize 3 pics of what seems to be the wreckage of Guy Bordelon's Corsair: five red stars, VC-3 markings, and darkened roundels for night fighters. Bordelon was the only Allied ace on prop plane, the only Allied night fighter ace, the only US Navy ace, and seemingly the last scoring ace of the War.

Yeah, i was to comment on that. I think a rookie crashlanded it hours before the cease-fire
