Spectacular pack.

One question. It Isnt too overweight? I mean 12700 kg of empty mass is too big, I think latest legacy bugs weights something around 11 tons.

It got to the point we most of us were like..."Ugh I never want to see another F-18 again."

I think so... it has been a long time since they have been on the shelf...

May I ask about the FM?

With the F/A-18A FM I currently use, the wings break off the fuselage at high G.

I am wondering if the FM in this package is different from the previous one.

No...you can still over-G the aircraft.

The FM is one of the 'beta' things about the aircraft...it's a bit too responsive in some areas.

Now, having said that, in the real aircraft, you can over-G it using some sort of switch that overrides the G limiter.

So in some ways, it sort of mimics real life...

Actually if the fixes I made back in September ended up in the pack, all variants should be limited to roughly 7,5G, atleast in hard mode...

Is it me, or Spanish decals are missing?

The various decals.inis refer to che "C-15" folder, but I only get "FA-18X" folders from the various zips uploaded (even from "Decals.7z" uploaded on 26/11).

Thank you!

Downloading now...

Intended as constructive feedback:

In the screenshots for this package: the F/A-18D looks the most real, because the panel lines are more subtle.

In all honesty (I think it was mentioned here, maybe not) but we were looking for three per type. SidDogg is USN, so he made a plethora of USN skins, and well I did too. But the EF-18 wasn't forgotten, it just wasn't done.

The biggest issue is just decals, the rest is easy, etc. i.e. the actual numbers that are on their jets by squadron is hard to find for me.

I know to go on scramble.nl but I'd like a list rather than playing a guessing game.

***NEW****

08. Feb. 2013

Small cockpit update, first releasing it here as the pack is big and update is small while installation is simple so you don't have to re-download the whole pack again if you already have it.

Here is the picture of what is changed/improved:

gallery_3270_118_271019.jpg

As you can see, lights and screens are much easier to read now, for those that are into modeling - I forgot to add self-illuminate and that's why they turned out so dull.

Installation: Since we have a gazillion of variants and there's no point in me duplicating all that now I packed just the basic 4 different cockpit versions:

HornetA - put that one in all versions of A Hornet + B Hornet

HornetCe - early Hornet C version, intended for early C's and D's

HornetC_94 - intended for 94 variants both C and D

HornetC - intended for 03 variants again for both, C and D

Basically just keep an eye on the lod names in respective variants and you should be ok.

Update for E Hornet is also done but I will handle that with master SuperHornet manager - EricJ
