+streakeagle 864 Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) It was either 1989 or 1990 when I went to my first Miramar airshow and saw an F-14 with both the TCS and IRST under the chin. The aircraft was parked as a static display for the duration of the airshow and you could walk up and touch anything you wanted. It wasn't the first time I had seen and touched an F-14, but it was most certainly the first time I had seen an F-14D.
