Ark Royal Deck Blurred?

Hi all,

 

just installed SF2 NA, and the 1975 Northern Sabre campaign expansion. However, the deck of Ark Royal is very blurred. The other carriers seem to be OK.

 

Any ideas what might be wrong and how to fix it?

artifacts cause by "skin stretching'

 

no fix is possible (yes, I've tried redrawing the lines, and they still blur) we need the MAX files so it can be remapped

Thanks Wrench - OK, thought it must be a problem with my install as the sreenshot supplied with the Ark Royal file looks fine

Hmm mine looks quite good not perfect but quite good, although main texture being Steel2.bmp is 2048x2048 here

Mine was 5000x5000!

 

Have reduced it to 2048x2048 and it does look a little better, I think - stiil not great, though

Reduce it again to 1024x1024 and see if it gets better???

Try checking your graphics settings and set it to highest detail...

as brain says...ark deck ok on my game with unlimited gfx setting

from my experience going very high texture resolution on ground objects and cockpits isn't any good as then any setting apart from unlimited makes massacre to the texture in terms of scaling down as shown above
