Yes. Consider the Airframe was accepted in 1985. Most of the Skin is Carbon Fiber and takes a beating from Sand and such. We used to use White Water-Borne Paint for Artic Training in Noraway. When done, We'd just wash it off in the Field. AV-8B's get a new paint Job (By Squadron) at the Depot Level Maintence about every 7 to 10 Years.

That sheme looks pretty cool on the Harriers!

Top is a dark grey and bottom a light grey.

really cool looking paint looks like the have glass 2 for the F-16.

want a skin for the AV-8B+ from bobrock now! :-P

nice! as complete package including the aircraft?

have you noticed that they also painted the AV-8B without Radar in that Colors?

 

i like the one were the radar nose is painted in lighter grey

The color of radar nose also has the lighter grey which is random and changes.
