sky failure when using SF1 terrains in SF2

Recommended Posts

I have an issue with using certain SF1 terrains in SF2 that everything works perfectly except for the sky... for some reason I have this crazy issue where the sky alternates between solid gray and solid bright blue (depending on whether I am looking above or below the horizon).. with no sun, cloud textures, or anything else. Is there some sort of data ini issue I need to adjust in the terrain?

Do any of these terrain "XXXXX.ini" files refer to an "EnvironmentSystem.ini" file ??? If it does, there is your problem, you must delete any reference to the different "EnvironmentSystem.ini" file so it will use the standard SF2 EnvironmentSystem.ini file.

yup, know issue with 1stGen terrains, where there exists a _enviormentalsystem.ini statement. Remove that line from the terrain's main ini, and all will revert to "stock" sf2
