Gameport CH FighterStick problem

Recommended Posts

Guest pfunkmusik

Hi. New to these forums, but hoping someone can help. I bought a gameport CH F-16 FighterStick from CH Products Website. The axes calibrate wonderfully and the buttons all are functional, but there are four hat switches on this thing that don't work and when I go to calibrate it in WinXP, they're all greyed out. They won't even work in Win 9X (I tried for fun). Anyone know how to fix this?

I have a CH Fighterstick (Gameport Type) that I've ran under Win98 and WinME.

Did you D/l and install the "Speedkeys" program from CH?

http://www.chproducts.com/retail/tech_support_pc.html (speedkeys.exe)

You program your Fighterstick buttons thru the CH Speedkeys program NOT the Winxx Game Controllers program.

You can use the Game Controllers program to initially introduce and calibrate your stick to your PC, though all button/hat programming is accomplished with Speedkeys.

Regards,
