SF2 NA on Windows XP?

Recommended Posts

Hi!!!! Is it possible to install SF2NA on windows Xp, and, instead of running it, run SF2?? I'd like to do that in order to have some files such as the F-14.dll and the carriers. Also, I have noticed SF2 terrains include a _water.bmp file. What is it for? Thanks!!!

1) yes, see terrain mod in mods forum

2) for the editor, for placing land vs water objects

It's possible, but it is really meant for Windows Vista and above, as many of the new features require DirectX 10 (effects, terrain, bumpmapped models).
