Love that plane. Excelent work. Thanks a lot.

Small question.  There should be no RWR and I can still hear audio RWR cues from tracking and launch. Its supposed to be like that or its bug?

This version is not supposed to have a RWR.

Is there somebody else who has this bug ? Because on my install everything is OK

check the data and avionics ini...

they still call out the old 3-ring statements.

change this line from the data inis, DetectSystem section:

HasRWR=FALSE

and either comment out or delete the RWR statement from the avionics ini.

easy peasy

You should check the radar range indicator lights, they show the next setting. When set on 35nm, the 60nm light is on, when set on 60nm, the 7nm light is on, and so on.

This has got to be one of the best aircraft mods since Ravenclaw's Buccaneer. Well done guys. :bowdown2:

Too bad I can only play it on the default terrains. Polys are a little bit too high for my desktop to cope; despite reducing the resolution of the skins by 50%. Methinks I should start looking for a new rig.

EDIT: Just wondering; has anybody had trouble loading the old R530s on the inner wing pylons? I noticed that when looking at the loadout in-game, they're not loaded by default.

@ Piecemeal : A little question, which R530 did you use, the stock one or the one from the Mirage Factory weapon pack ???

@ Mono27 : each foreign operators will be covered with a stand alone aircraft.

Hi Ludo. Since last Thursday I've been using Ravenclaw's hi-res French missile models from this thread:

http://combatace.com/topic/81120-matra-super-530-missile-info/

(scroll down to Ravenclaw's thread entry for 30th January, 10:30am)

Something is fishy. HasRWR=FALSE is already set there and you can still hear audio cues. I go to remove RWR from avionics. Definitly HasRWR=FALSE dosent work.

@Piecemeal : That's bizarre, can you try with the missile included in the pack (also made by Ravenclaw) and please tell me if it's works fine ?

@atarybaby : I try to find a fix, is there anybody else who have this problem ?

For the radar range issue : in the avionics.ini file :

Can you change the four "rangesetting" lines by these ones :

RangeSetting[1]=7
RangeSetting[2]=15
RangeSetting[3]=35
RangeSetting[4]=60

That should solve the problem.

When I removed all RWR lines in avionics and data except HasRWR=FALSE all was ok, no RWR audio anymore. Must be game issue.

That R530 from the Mirage pack seemed to do the trick. Thanks Ludo  :ty:

I know you won't like this feedback... but that's how it is:
These Mirage F1 are really killing my FPS performance... textures are too big and Distance LODs are missing!  :huh:
I can resize the textures, but there is nothing I can do about the LODs. Sadly, but I am going to uninstal all F1s  cray.gif.pagespeed.ce.e7zcGoJNnJ.gif

Hello Danilo, I am sorry you feel that way. We have not had a lot of complaints about the performance, could you detail your PC specifications? Our model is only 27,000 triangles all included so the poly count is really not excessive, even if not as low as stock aircraft.

How is your game performance affected by other high-detail planes like the TMF F-14 or Ravenclaw's F-4s or Buccaneer?

I know that I also experience some performances problems, but texture reduction improves things

      When it became clear that the Mirage F1 was becoming a successful production aircraft, Dassault began investigating the possibility of a dedicated reconnaissance version for its most important client, the French Air Force. However, the escalating cost of fighter aircraft meant that add-on pods for this purpose were a more economical alternative. Many French Air Force aircraft, as well as those of some export clients (such as Iraq's Mirage F1EQ), did indeed have a variety of reconnaissance pods available, which were attached to the underside of the main fuselage.
