Keep this Airfield alive and going

Hey, gee, three deep bow-downs, Sir!

All I have ever played in Irish Pubs was still being sober.

I used to drink lots of Guinness in Ray's Irish Bar, Berlin-Wedding.

Then I guess you must know the Breton harp artist Alan Stivell -

he is quite well-known by Germans of my generation.

I still have a couple of his albums on vinyl.  I have no turntable now but you've prompted me to see if any of his music is available on Itunes.

Some of my great grandfather's on my Mom's side were Welsh harpists, being  part Welsh and part Romany.  My great great grandfather and his sons played together as 'The Cambrian Minstrels', to Queen Victoria amongst others.

On my maternal grandparents' wedding certificate my grandfather's father's occupation is recorded simply as 'Welsh harpist'.

I had an album by Alan Stivell once. Don't know what happened to it. The only harp I play is the blues harp - a bit different to say the least.
