Generic Alternative Flogger Cockpit ?

Hello,

 

Thanks to this topic by Ordway:

and with his beautiful ''23 cockpit'' stuff, I've tried to create a sort of generic Flogger cockpit... 

 

I started from the original MiG-21MF cockpit. I've integrated it into the TMF MiG-23 updated for SF2.

 

I hope this simple view could explain my job... in French language we name this "un pis-aller"!

A good stop-gap indeed. The "vanished" Stary was working on a new MiG-23 pit, but I don´t know his fate and the cockpit as well...

We have several Mig pits, but no Mig-23 and 25 yet. So a Flogger cockpit will be always welcome!!

From Flogger family, this would need a specific avionics in order to have the radar functions integrated to the HUD system.

 

With SF2 (and SFP1 I suppose) impossible to create transparency for radar!

Hmm I did some experiments several months ago, even if you put transparent tga file as a radar background there is still this black box behind.

Indeed ArthuR! I've experimented this and in my install the radar background was grey!

 

So I've chosen this central radar visualisation option from the Ordway topic...

If we can just edit the MiG-21MF Cockpit... to add the centerline... and the seep angle indicator it will be fine for me.
