I've always wondered if a fully loaded Jug would qualify as a "light" attack aircraft! ;-)

Hate to add a 'Heavy' note here but what about the PB-4Y Privateer? Might be a good addition to WWII pacific, KAW, and French Indochina wars/scenarios.

Just a wish.........NIELS

Would be awesome!........I know the F-4 carries the name RHINO by its drivers, but if there was ever a WWII, KAW, warrior that this beasts name would apply it would be the Liberator & Privateer. Not real pretty but a brute delivering the hurt on the enemy.

Hope it happens & Thanks for the great mods/additions,  NIELS

could use a K Counter Invader for Nam (turrets were removed)

We already have the B & C versions for WW2 and Korea by bobrock (wish we could get his source file, but I ain't got no money, as he's selling it. that's how the DAT got their newest version. they bought his)

I'm sure I can find time, if needed.

A-20s are what's needed. At least 4 models (A,C,G,K). Although, depending on how the meshes are built, a C could be back-tweeked to an A. I've lots of decals for both, PTO versions.

MTO versions of the Boston III/A-20C  will require a camo paint job

and, obviously, like TheWarrior said, replacement Ju-88s and He-111s

the A in question was converted from a bomber to a strafer, by having the glass nose painted over and 4 mgs added where the bomb aimer used to be. Very similar to what was done to C/D B-25s. The one I 'made' used the DAT A-20C lods, but in sf2 you no longer can put a decal (tga) over window glass (also tga!!). Obvioulsy, this is for New Guinea

below is a screenie of the mod of the DAT bird. I know I did a 'remove component' trick for several items, as the exhausts were different, painted on the cowling vents (easy enough!), and some things I'm forgetting

I have several books, and they're yours if you want or need them. Unfortunately, there's no Detail & Scale for the A-20

oh, and where I said K, should be J model (glass nose, but with out the framing, more of a 2 piece kind of thing)

Does 26 K have bomb bay ?....remodelled B to K   and started to add some details....

prop to redo as blades are flat tips...

gear doors looked odd so adding some polys to make them less blocky

new engine on  left     new wheels on left   added curves to tail,fuselage...added a few more vertices to smooth curved areas....

nose slightly too long...will pull that back a tad..removed turret....and adding better detail to glazed mid top fuselage

yes it does. it's not really different from the B (solid nose) other than the tip tans, and underwing pylons (and reinforced main wing spars)

I've got some book around here somewhere, if you need them Russ
