SF2 and Windows 8

I'm thinking about getting a new computer and almost everything they sell around here (Puerto Rico) comes with Windows 8 preinstalled.

 

I want to know how does the game behaves on a W8 computer. Or how does W8 handles the game.

I find that I need to wait at least a minute after startup for Strike Fighters to work.  Otherwise it crashes.
