Classic flanker cockpit for Marcfighters Su-27

Classic flanker cockpit for Marcfighters Su-27

After few years,hundred thousand hours hard works and some remod,here's the stuff.it designed for SF2 still you can also put

it in Gen1,but some instruments won't do their job.using in Gen1 is not recommend,well,you know,old engine has lower efficiency

when deal with those high poly model.

Model:

the whole thing has more than ten thousand polys,i try to build almost everything in 3d model,switch panel instruments handle etc....

Texture:

Spending about a dozen bitmap for those texture,most of the instruments and panel has their own skin.for compatibility all bitmap

been converted into BMP format,which can work in Gen 1&2.

Head up display:

the HUD is composed with traditional one which using the avionics.ini and 3d model with cockpit.ini,just like TMF mig-29's pit,

you will lose some part of the HUD when press the Cockit hidden key.

<hr>

tested environment:

WOE Oct 2008

SF2E Jul 2013

SF2NA Jul 2013

Installation:please check the readme file

Credits:

This is freeware mod made for SF2 series do not use for commercial use or unauthorized distribution.

hope you like this mod,and enjoy your flight [:bye:]

Having a couple of issues. I've got the problem with the canopy frame being out sync with the aircraft model. Also, there's these two things highlighted in red that keep spinning around. Any ideas?

One of the best cockpits ever released so far. A needed addition to SF2. Thanks for sharing!

you can try Fubar 512's way to solve this problem,in this topics

http://combatace.com/topic/84046-su-27-cockpit-problem/

,or move the pit a little bit forward by edit the cockpit.ini

[CockpitSeat001]

ModelName=SU-27_classic_cockpit

Position=0.0000,6.05,1.50     <-------------Increase the Y-axis about 0.3 or 0.5 meter

Position=0.0000,6.55,1.50     <-------------

and i think those spinning thing are some kind of sensors with mirror,found a video from internet shows they do spin in action.

Great cockpit but...it is always open. Why it doesn"t close? What should I modify to have my cockpit closed?

It happens sometime,depends on what plane you use,the pit been design to openable by link up with external model,default animation ID is 10.if your plane do have the canopy animation replace the id in the cockpit.ini should solve this,if not,you can just disable it in same file,then canopy won't open any more.

[OpenCanopyControl]

Type=EXTERNAL_ANIMATION_LINK

NodeName=Line33

MovementType=ANIMATION

AnimationID=10

ItemNumber=10

      View File SU-27K (SU-33)
      nstallation of the Sentraedi Fighter SU-27K:
      The installation procedure is quite normal,
      FACILITY:
      This SU-27K (SU-33) package is for an SF2 installation. Simply copy and paste the items from the included folders into the corresponding folders contained in your Saved Games > ThirdWire folder

      GRADES:
      This is a primitive version of the SU-27K Flanker airborne heavy fighter, it is not optimized for ground attacks but can carry a lot of bombs and rockets
      the model is a SU-35 casing that we once worked with ALEDUCAT and it was never finished, the controls were optimized for vector thrust so it doesn't move some ailerons, today I finished it as a Sukhoi 27k to share it.
      Create a set of classic double rockets for this model.
      the chosen cabin is the one created by YEYEYE, the original readme file is added.
      The missiles that I chose are from a pack of weapons, I don't know who created them but it is appreciated.
      Hope you enjoy.
      By pressing the corresponding vectoring keys (vertical thrust) the plane becomes unstable like the SU-57 model, being able to perform the Cobra maneuver.

      I had planned to create the characters of the series but unfortunately every day it becomes more difficult for me to finish projects to be able to share them with you, it would be of great help if you followed me on my youtube channel
      https://www.youtube.com/@arielmelo9789/videos
         I could justify the time invested in my ex-wife hahahaha.
