Two new files: Lewis Gun and AEG C.IV

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I uploaded two new files for First Eagles - A stand alone Lewis Gun and the AEG C.IV two seater.

The Lewis Gun is based on the gun I made for my Nieuports 10 and 12. I included the data for the Weapons Data, based on the data Whiteknight06604 used for his Lewis Gun on the Nieuport 17. I did not attempt to make installation instructions, but I did include a diagram to help modders calculate the data needed in the plane's FM.

The AEG C.IV was a German two seater which saw heavy use during the last two years of the war. I was thinking of Palestine when I made this, but the skins are generic enough to use on any front. My thanks to Ojcar for making another wonderful FM for my plane.

Stephen1918, a huge thanks for all the terrific additions you have made to the FE world!  I snagged the new Lewis gun yesterday, and I'm off to download the AEG.  Thanks again.

I have install the AEG C.IV and very nice too thank you, but I have a problem with the wingmen they are on top of each other this is something I have seen with other aircraft in my FE2 not just the AEG C.IV any one with any ideas.

Perhaps it's something in the Formations file? Can you post a screen shot?

Have you changed the Formations.ini in the Flight folder? If there is a Formations.ini file in your Flight folder, try moving it out of the folder and seeing what happens.

I'm sorry, Don246. I am stumped. It looks like the game is using a formation, but putting three of the planes in the same position instead of spreading them out. But your Formation.ini looks the same as mine.

Have any of you other guys ever come across this?

I have not seen this in FE. once in a while in the Strike Fighters series when the planes hit the "wall" but It doesn't look like that is what is happening here.

Thanks for your input guys I will keep playing and not look at my wingmen.

just curious give your wingmen a fast order to attack ground targets then a fast rejoin order right after you altN and see if they go back to a normal formation. If that works ,while not a solution to the problem might at least stop them from being shot down all at once.
