LVG C.II

Recommended Posts

Today I uploaded the LVG C.II, an early German two-seater reconnaissance plane, also used for light bombing. I started this plane more than a year ago, but got distracted by other projects. The upload includes 3 skins, 2 sets of decals, and loadouts for light and heavy bomb loads.

My thanks to my friend ojcar, who made the FM and gave me good advice for shaping the nose.

Supercool. just love WW1 two-seaters. For yonks, we only had two German ones - the DFWC5 and Aviatik. Then Stephen came along and transformed the game with a bunch of these badly needed planes, and of course with a whole lot other planes. Too many to count, all with cockpits as well. Epic effort!

Thanks again Stephen and ojcar.

A good looking plane over good looking terrain.

I've been using Stephens' two seaters  a lot. They are great to fly and look so cool. I'll tell you, it's really too bad your gunners cant target ground objects. With Stephens' infantry models and Geezers' trenches it could have created an awesome scenario for trench straffing and such.

Quack, your terrain is very realistic. The patchy snow over the fields is great.

Have tried this out a bit now, and thanks again - this is certainly a very nice early looking German C class plane. Nicely modelled, and the nose work you mentioned is extremely well done.
