Lost in Space got it right!

Astronomers have announced that they have discovered an earth-sized  planet orbiting the sun's nearest neighbor, Proxima Centauri (which in turn is itself a "third" member of the Alpha Centauri binary star system). Anyway, at 4.24 light years distance, it'll take a while before Virgin Galactic begins regularly scheduled service there

Maybe we feel bad about doing it a century later, and try to make them feel better by putting their likeness on a coin and name a sports team after them.

We should either enslave or eat those ET barbarians before they do the same to us.

And then they can migrate here as refugees and control everything we do.

I for one welcome our new insect overlords. I hope they know that some of us can be useful for rounding up others, to toil in their sugar caves.
