R-27R Missile for Marcfighters Su-27 with YEYEYEs classic cockpit

Recommended Posts

Sorry relative Noob here. I wanted to use  Marcfighters Su-27 with  YEYEYEs classic cockpit (as he intended to).

The readme says I have to change certain things in various .inis. That worked fine. BUT: I just noticed the "Loadout.ini" refers to a R-27R missile - but I cant find the "Alamo" missile ingame. Whenever I start a quick mission it only gives me various Archers and Atolls.

Am I missing something...? Thanks in advance!

R-27 would be AA-10A/B/C/D and don't think these were in the stock game.

Have you installed any missiles into the weapons folder?

Sorry but I just checked the Readme again (after I installed the RSS pack), and still no R-27. O_o Also I made a mistake, there is no mentions of any Weapons pack, neither by YEYEYE on his cockpit or Marc on his Su.27.

But YEYEYE clearly references the R-27 in his .ini readme: http://i.imgur.com/AWSQW13.jpg

How do I make that missile appear ingame? Did I install the weapons pack correctly? It belongs in Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 NorthAtlantic\Objects\Weapons right?

The weapons in RSS are sorted using their NATO codenames (AA-1, AS-7 etc)  their reference is therefore the same. In-game, however they are using their native designation at the first place  but they display NATO codename as well  (R-3S Atoll, Kh-28 AS-9 Kyle etc)

AA-10A is R-27R   AA-10D is R-27ET  etc etc

These designations should be used in the Loadout.ini  reference,  for example

//Su-27S RSS Loadout file Snailman 20150610

// Station 01 = Left Outer Wing - IRM
// Station 02 = Right Outer Wing - IRM
// Station 03 = Left Wing - IRM
// Station 04 = Right Wing - IRM
// Station 05 = Left Inner Wing - IRM,AHM,SAHM
// Station 06 = Right Inner Wing - IRM,AHM,SAHM
// Station 07 = Centerline Front Station -  IRM,AHM,SAHM
// Station 08 = Centerline Rear Station -  IRM,AHM,SAHM
// Station 09 = Left engine Station - IRM,AHM,SAHM
// Station 10 = Right engine Station - IRM,AHM,SAHM
