View File Boeing B-52K Stratofortress B.1
Boeing B-52K Stratofortress B.1 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a very simple mod of the stock (non-flyable) Third Wire B-52K to give a fictional and flyable B-52K Stratofortress B.1 in service with No.9 Squadron attached to RAF South East Asia Command.
Also included are fictional 'Flail' and 'Flambard' bombs with Flail being especially useful against soft-skin targets (or fuel tanks if you get tasked against these in Strike missions) and Flambard being a particularly nasty incendiary bomb. You can, of course, convert it to use nukes but bombing from 12,000m with conventional ordnance is a real challenge but great fun. As we don't have a proper B-52 pit you'll have to make do with the one supplied or go your own way and I mainly prefer to fly this one with cockpit toggle off.

      INSTRUCTIONS
      1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the B-52K folder into your Aircraft folder.
      2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the B-52K folder into your Decals folder.
      3. From the WEAPONS folder drag and drop the FLAIL and FLAMBARD folders into your weapons folder.

      CREDITS
As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim.
And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.

View File [Fictional] Douglas Dakota C.3 - RAF Desert Camo
Douglas Dakota C.3 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a simple mod of the stock C-47A to create a Dakota C.3 in service with the Royal Air Force in the 1948-1967 timeline. Of course, the Royal Air Force were a big user of the Dakota but not in this fictional desert camo scheme which is loosely based on the original Lockheed Hercules C.1 scheme of the very early 1970's (quite an odd scheme for the times). It is flyable and RECON has been added as a secondary role so that you fly low-level recce missions and watch those MiG's stall and crash!

      INSTRUCTIONS
      1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the DakotaC3 folder into your Aircraft folder.
      2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the DakotaC3 folder into your Decals folder.
      That's it!

      CREDITS
As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim.
Special thanks to gerwin for this lovely desert camo to which I've simply added black undersides and decals.
Special thanks also to russouk2004 for bringing us the smashing C-47A cockpit.
And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.

View File [Fictional] Dassault Mirage F.1A (RAF)
Dassault Mirage F.1A for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a very simple mod of the stock Mirage 3C to give a fictional export version for the Royal Air Force with markings for No.56, No.74 and No.111 squadrons of Fighter Command (all famous users of the contemporary and equally gorgeous Lightning).
N.B. This mod has been tested in a fully merged install and, in particular, uses the Lightning gunsight from Expansion Pack 2.

      INSTRUCTIONS
      1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the MirageF1A folder into your Aircraft folder.
      2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the MirageF1A folder into your Decals folder.
      That's it!
