I found some ground models in the net and they are free to use, and I was wondering if it's okay to have them in this site before I work on them? they state clearly to be used free and not commercially.  please let me know.

as long as the original builder has stated "free use", there are no issues

And you should always as a professional courtesy include in the README the ORIGINAL artist's name/credits and where you obtained the model from...  :ok:

Yeah I found few...the creators dont mind as long as credits given...most seem glad their stuff seeing daylight...doesnt hurt to ask...I asked the guys who made the DCS hawk,and they were pleased to help with stuff.
