It’s like the British press breathlessly announcing stuff like “the RAF intercepted 5-6 Russian planes approaching Britain last year”. During the Cold War we intercepted 2-3/week.. They and we have been potentially destabalising the situation since 1946 by doing flybys every day, it was just another day in the office for the aircrews on both sides, and the Russians were displaying the usual sense of humour practiced by Aircrews globally.
