I got the He 111b and He 111e ready too. All with Legion Condor livery. Remember that some SFP2 planes won't work on FE2 so I suggest to move this whole thread to SFP2 WWII forum.

On a related note, those interested in flying the early Me109 variants in FE2 might want to check over the tweaked FMs for them, available in my SF2 (1937 - 1941) FM update pack under the SF2 threads. Keep in mind that those tweaks were tested, however, only in SF2.

One thing that may be necessary is to cap the mach limit number more extremely (to lower it) and to reduce overall engine output too, in order to get historical top speeds in FE2 - I'm willing to look over those data inis for a SCW scenario in FE2 eventually...although currently I can't make any promises regarding other FMs for other SCW aircraft since I'm already swamped with FMs - have to go over several FMs for WOFFue, then a part two (two-engined aircraft) for a 1937-41 scenario in SF2, and then finally I have to revisit FE2 and start working on a ver. 10.0 of the FM update pack. Fun times ahead.

At any rate, a SCW scenario is a welcome addition indeed to FE2!

I have a Heinkel He-51 in the works, the cockpit and the FM still need a lot of work. Then I need to gather everything, make screens, make holes, etc. to make it ready for upload. So, still a month or so. I'll finish the DH 9 first, since that's a WWI plane which I've already made, it will get a new fuselage and engine to reflect the Spanish produced version. The DH 9 should be finished in a week or so.

My point in starting this discussion is to make a First Eagles version of the Spanish Civil War, so no, let's not move to the Strike Fighters forum. It is possible to get at least some Strike Fighter planes to fly in FE (I use FE 1 by the way ) - you'll need to change the pilots, guns, and bombs to those available in FE, and make new skins. For some planes you'll need to add lines to the controls ini to make the landing gear, brakes, flaps, etc. work. I saw a list of commands somewhere in the FE forums, I think it was in Geezer's Spanish Civil War thread, but I can't find it now. Of course you should get permission from the original modder - or maybe provide a link to their download along with your changes.

Hey Stephen1918, those planes with the "bump" blue files does not work in FE2 and is very likely that the same or worst occurs in FE1. Is more a 3d and graphic issues than FM.

Well, some of them may not work, but some of them will. This is MontyCZ's Avia B-534 made for SF1 flying in FE1. Notice that the pilot is the stock FE pilot. And Coupi posted shots of the Bf 109 flying in FE2

I made a quick test with DAT's I-16 Type 10 (it's the best around) on FE2 and the plane is invisible on game! Hope that someone make the same test to unsure my suspicious.

In the SF1 Downloads section, Russouk2004 has a Bf.109 which looks pretty good - since it's first generation it might come into both FE1 and FE2 better.

Russo's Emil* should work in both, as it's an "ansi" coded model. Templates are around here someplace, iirc. (if not I should have a copy)

I just got myself FE2 after my old pc died with capun's sfp1 Spanish War. This looks very promising and will definitely be far more accessible for the public in general.
