New NVIDIA driver problems

Installed new NVIDIA driver last night and now the game comes up and loads fine but turns black upon pressing "fly" - you can hear the loading wav, then the aircraft engine, but the screen remains black. I know it's probably just a setting, not sure which one..

Into the "options" tab, Graphics option, and lower your Effects Detail setting to "High" (NOT unlimited), and you'll be fine. A lot of us have had this one come up.

Its if you have the effects set to unlimited for some reason, I have my settings all at unlimited except for that one option , and that works just fine for me, to be honest the difference between unlimited, and high settings is negligible.

its the same thing. go to the graphic settings in the game and set them to high instead of unlimited
