Your picture shows not a weapon, but a soviet version of the "Sänger Projekt", called "Kosmoljot".

The vehicle shows civil markings, the soviet flag and the cyrillic letters "CCCP", transfered to latin letters "SSSR" or translated into english "USSR".

the concept itself was far older

does sf2 handle 100k+ altitudes? i`m thinking about doing the 3d model of that thing

It can until 115k, once above you lose control over the aircraft, the camera sways and other issues...
